Shma Participates in Designers of Mountain and Water by Harvard University

This exhibition brings together leading ‘Designers of Mountain and Water’ to present visionary approaches to alternative landscapes in response to climate change. The exhibition features 58 landscape architecture works by 23 practices across Asia. The projects are organized by bioregions—defined by geography, geology, fauna, flora, ecological and climatological characteristics, as well as population settlements and cultural features shaped by these conditions.

With a strong interest in adaptive cities and climate-responsive design, Shma integrates architecture, science, and technology to shape resilient environments. In this exhibition, Shma presents three projects that reflect strategic approaches to harmonizing with nature:

  • Jin Wellbeing County — The Community in the Ravine Forest Through an Urban Polder System
  • Mapletree Business City II — An Urban Wilderness that provides a comfortable environment and connects integrated green networks
  • Bang Bon Ecological Park — A hybrid recreational and ecological park that encourages people to experience and learn from nature while engaging in leisure activities

Shma sincerely appreciates and feels deeply honored to be part of this exhibition. We would like to extend our gratitude to Jungyoon Kim, Harvard University, Graduate School of Design, and Justin Knight Photography for making this opportunity possible.
