“Education is the matrix of intellect.” The idea for Landscape Architecture of the school comes from the philosophy of the school which cultivate life skills for students who study here. The main concept of the landscape is to respond to young students’ activities and encourage them to interact not only among themselves but also with the surrounding nature. The plaza elongates along the main road and gradually terracing up to the mall’s entrances on the ground floor at 2.7 m. Higher than the external road level. Through level changes, the plaza manifests itself in different gesture corresponding to relevant function or place such as grand stair, water cascade, and green slope to create a sense of “Paddy Terrace”. Due to the limitation of the landscape area, Fluidscape provides the solution that maximizes multiple usages and flexible function as much as possible. Linear Pattern creates a sense of direction and allocation of spaces. Fluid Benches formed out of the waving wooden deck, raising from the floor and shaped like a seat, table and stand are uniquely designed to serve multiple usages. Also, by creating “Natural Classroom” which encourage and increase opportunities for the student to reconnect with nature. Students experience the freedom to explore nature while relaxing or learning. The student can create their imagination to do homework, play, relax or gather for outdoor classes or the school’s special.
Table set is designed to generate flow of various activities between or after classes. The area has connection with Art classroom. Student can socialize with their friends while doing homework, sharing food, sitting or simply resting under the cooling shades of Indian Oak trees
